Who We Are?
My story
My interest in photography began at a very early age. As a young boy of eight years I recall visiting the Durban Dolphinarium armed with a very simple black and white instamatic camera. However, as Gambit the star dolphin leapt through a high mounted hoop over the water an intrepid eight year old photographer captured that majestic act at it’s glorious zenith. I’m sure it was more of a fluke than raw talent, but when the film was developed and the results came back, I was hooked.
Through my schooling and early adult life photography was put on the back burner as I focused on the nuts and bolts of life. I qualified as a Microsoft Certified Professional in the I.T industry. It seemed like the right thing to do to earn my keep, but I yearned for photography.
In 1998 I heard of somebody who was looking for a photographer to specialise in virtual tours for real estate. From then on photography became my full time career doing virtual tours and panoramic photography for real estate, game lodges and hotels throughout the country.
In 2006 we were awarded the contract from the South African Tourism Board to photograph and create virtual tours of all the scenic sights and places of interest throughout South Africa. I travelled around the country for eight months and have seen and photographed the most amazing scenery and breath taking views this country has to offer as well as places of interest including museums, battle sites, sports venues, historical buildings and more.
In 2013 I started Cyber Sensory Dynamics focusing mainly on the commercial sector with virtual tours and virtual demonstrations of vehicles from cars to combine harvesters.
During the last few years I have branched out into doing time-lapse photography and green screen videography which creates a whole host of new and exciting challenges that I look forward to every day.
